Dubai continues to grow as a global destination for real estate investments and luxury living. The recently unveiled Jebel Ali Beach Development Project will give a strong thrust to the emirate’s growth drive.
Longest public beach in Dubai
Once completed, Jebel Ali Beach will become the longest public beach in Dubai. The project is part of the Dubai 2040 Master Plan’s efforts to expand the city’s public beach offerings by 400%.
The project envisages a 2km open beach for swimming, a 2.5km diving sports area, a walkway with viewing platforms, and recreational and service areas.
Moreover, Nakheel will develop a 5 km sandy beach, while Dubai Municipality will build a 1.6 km mangrove beach.
Spanning 6.6 km and covering a total area of 330 hectares, the project aims to boost ecotourism by enhancing the city’s coastal landscape.
Three Zones
The beach will feature three zones. The central zone ‘Pearl’ near the entrance to Palm Jebel Ali will offer facilities for a lively family beach experience and sports activities. It will have a swimming pool, kids’ play areas, a beach club, and a private beach. Pearl will also have a floating restaurant, cafes, and shops.
The ‘Sanctuary’ zone supports environmental protection and turtle conservation. It also offers a host of recreational activities.
The ‘Nest’ zone, situated within a mangrove, will promote the conservation of the area’s rich biodiversity and environmental awareness.
Boost to Dubai’s real estate
The project will elevate Dubai’s status as a prime destination for real estate investment and luxury living. The beach will get an integrated infrastructure that includes two-lane roads, parking for 1000 vehicles, a cycling track, and a running trail. These ensure seamless connectivity and convenience, driving the value of nearby properties.
The project supports Dubai’s efforts to position itself as a premier lifestyle and real estate investment destination.
